Raised in an entertainment family, Kathryn's on-stage, professional career began as a young girl. Her family legacy began when her dad, Robert (Bob) J. McNea ran away with the circus at 15 where he perfected vaudeville style, slap-stick comedy skills as a clown named Moppets.

In 1959 Bob became Detroit, Michigan's famous kids' TV celebrity Bozo the Clown, hosting a daily after school program broadcast to audiences throughout Southwestern Ontario, Michigan, Ohio and Upstate New York.

Eight years later, Bob developed television's the "Oopsy the Clown" show. Over a span of 30 years, generations of children were loyal fans of the kind, gentle spirited character and all his friends who lived in Daisyville.

Show business life in the McNea household included the whole family.  Everyone had a role in extravegant stage productions as well as the TV show, which was seen by over half a million viewers throughout northeastern USA and across Canada.

In spite of a chaotic childhood, which integrated show business with formal education, nine-year-old 'Kathy Lynn' began to study music through rigorous, classical piano training. Daily, focused rehearsal and hard work converged a decade later when she became Musical Director of the TV show. Utilizing her technical and creative skills, Kathryn wrote and performed dozens of songs for kids on air. The "Oopsy the Clown" Show won several high profile Canadian broadcast awards as Best Children's Television Show during the 80's and 90's.

"My well balanced life philosophy is influenced by an innate need to blend creativity and musical passion with daily, fundamental commercial business activity. I feel privileged to have been given these gifts. To be able to share them is extraordinary!"
